Very pleasant people, nice restaurant, nice location.
Staff were very polite and helpful
Room was a bit shabby looking. The carpet was dirty and needed cleaning and the room smelt of smoke
Freindly staff, good room and excellent food. Thanks
No complaints at all. This is the second stay there, see you next year.
The whole embiance of this hotel was good. The staff friendly, food very good and the room superb. Will definitely return.
The hotel was very nice clean and the staff was very helpfull and friendly lovely four poster bed.pleasure to stay there and will book again.
Everything, about the hotel, including very friendly and helpful staff, quality food, lovely room, and most of all a very nice old tudor building with lovely grounds. This hotel is also very close to town, about 1 mile.
Staff very helpful, food good, nice garden.
First room given was not up to scratch very small and dark and the bathroom was a bit grubby but when we asked if we could move rooms the staff were very good and moved us to a much nicer room.
The staff were particularly friendly and the food and service were good. The hotel is situated in a pleasant road near the town with plenty of parking. The rooms are OK but the bathrooms are small, but we knew this before we booked, Value for money I rate this hotel highly.
Small windowless bathroom.
Staff very courteous and friendly
Walls between rooms made of cardboard, meant that you could hear next room people breathing heavy and also therefore when they moved you could hear every little movment until they went to bed at 02.10 in morning cooked breakfast was excellent, although when we went along at 09.15 some of the items had run out
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was freshly cooked and not buffet style which meant it came out hot. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The bar served good food.
Wi fi unavailable in my room, not good when on business
Friendly staff , good breakfast , close to town transport links for london plus other areas . Lovely rear garden .
A little over priced .
Friendly staff and bar area. Good bar food.
Room only had a shower. Would have been nice to have a bath as well. I also was a bit disappointed that the room only had 4 channels on the tv. I expect hotels to have digital tvs these days with all the freeview channels.
Pleasant helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
Dark, depressing room with small window. The ensuite is more of a cupboard than a bathroom & barely useable. No comfortable public areas to relax inside & nothing outside other than the car park. Poor breakfast in both quality & quantity. A dated hotel badly in need of a makeover.
The hotel was lovely, the staff were excellent and so was the breakfast. We would stay there again if in that part of england
